Building Community Over Competition
In keeping with #healthyathome and transitioning into #healthyatwork you will notice several changes when it comes to booking with @Oak & Main. The Governor, CDC, health department and the tattoo and cosmetic industries have given very specific guidelines for us to follow. The Governor has announced our industry will be able to reopen starting May 25th if we have proper personal protective equipment and the community continues to adhere to the guidelines to where there isn't a spike in cases. We will continue to keep you updated as we get closer to the May 25th deadline.
Starting now, ALL consultations will be done virtually (zoom, Facebook video messenger, Google meet or skype). These will be scheduled 1 week prior to your appointment. We will not be able to accept physical forms of payment. You will be invoiced 48 hours before your scheduled service. Payment must be received prior to your arrival. All aftercare information will be shared with you via email or social media message. Any aftercare items you will need to take home with you will be sterilized and packaged in advance.
Leading into #healthyatwork there are several steps we will all have to take to maintain a sanitary and healthy environment. These steps are:
Please continue to follow our no guest policy to service appointments. If you are unable to come alone, you will need to reschedule your appointment.
The doors will remain locked. Please text 859-684-7479 upon your arrival. You will be sent a text when we are ready for you to come in. Even though we already follow strict sanitation guidelines we will be spending extra time making sure we are well prepared for your arrival.
You will be required to wear a mask over your nose and mouth during your time at Oak & Main. Please bring a mask with you. If you are unable to, please notify us 48 hours in advance. We will provide you with a mask for an additional cost of $5.
When you arrive, there will be a temperature check at the door. Any temp above 99.5 will require you to reschedule your appointment at a minimum of 2 weeks out (no additional fees will be incurred for last minute reschedule). If you have been sick prior to your appointment you must be fever free for 3 days. Please be very upfront with any recent health concerns you or your close contacts have experienced.
If you bring a bag or purse and are not able to leave it in your vehicle you will be required to place it in a disposable bag immediately upon your arrival. This also means there will be no cell phones out while you are in the building. You are welcome to give our number to your emergency contact (to be used for emergencies ONLY).
After you have been through the steps above you will be required to wash your hands.
Unfortunately, there will be limited communication due to the amount of PPE we will have to wear and due to time restrictions. Please let us know in advance if you have specific music, podcasts or audiobooks you would like to listen to.
Individual emails will be sent out soon regarding scheduling appointments. You will not be able to book on Vagaro until we are able to adjust to the extra time needed for all the additionl steps above.
